Services

SUNDAY TEACHING SERVICE - 10:00 am

We believe in expository preaching and reading of God’s Word that exalts the Lord Jesus Christ for the edification of the saints.

SUNDAY GOSPEL SERVICE - 11:30 am

We believe in the proclamation of salvation, also called the free offer of the Gospel; through persuasive evangelistic preaching, and praying God will glorify the Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation of His elect.

WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY - 7:00 pm

We believe in the practical study of the word of God. We study verse by verse a chapter of the Holy Scriptures. We also pray for concerns within our church and read prayer letters from other like-minded churches, and missionaries.

THE HOLY SCRIPTURES

The Authorized King James Version or the Geneva Bible is preached from during all services and meetings of the church; as these are the most reliable English translations of the Word of God. Hymns are selected from Hymns of Grace, New Psalter, or Psalms and Hymns of Reformed Worship.

THE REGULATIVE PRINCIPLE

The regulative principle of worship is the Reformed practice of doing only what God commands in public worship. The Reformed approach differs from others who require obedience to what God commands, but who also allow practices not forbidden in the Scripture.

Our confession summarizes the position in chapter 22, paragraph 1,“The light of nature shews that there is a God, who hath lordship and sovereignty over all; is just, good, and doth good unto all; and is therefore to be feared, loved, praised, called upon, trusted in, and served, with all the heart and all the soul, and with all the might. But the acceptable way of worshiping the true God is instituted by himself, and so limited by his own revealed will, that he may not be worshiped according to the imaginations and devices of men, nor the suggestions of Satan, under any visible representations, or any other way not prescribed in the Holy Scriptures.”
